God created man from the dust of the earth in His own image, forever linking God and man. In Hebrew, the word yi’sir notes that man was formed from existing material, which God had previously created. The Hebrew word banah stresses that a woman was built up from the foundation of a man’s rib, which would forever link the three of them.

Adam in Genesis 2:23 says, “This is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called woman, because she was taken out of man.” Both man and woman are created by special design, as unique and separate genders, and are intimately linked; God literally made man and woman for each other. Male and female are neither interchangeable nor reversible. They are each a unique and special design created by God, Himself. 

These facts are important considering the way the world skews the definition of man and woman and tries to manipulate God’s people into accepting the homosexual and transgender agendas, accusing us of being hateful against those who choose those lifestyles if we don’t agree with them. However, Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13 state that homosexuality is an abomination and Romans 1:26-28 calls it a vile affection practiced by reprobates (a depraved or wicked person). We must therefore always speak the truth concerning the facts of God’s creation, that each gender has a role which was designed by God, and they cannot be reversed or changed.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I thank You for Your special design of man and woman. I give You praise for the gift of one another, and for forever linking us to You through our unique creations.

Father, as You know, I have people in my life, whom I love and care about deeply, who have fallen for the lies of the enemy and have chosen what the world calls, an alternate lifestyle. I ask You to please remove the spiritual blinders from their eyes and give them the wisdom of, and desire to live according to Your special and unique design.

As I study Your Word, help me to be equipped to be used by You to guide them to an understanding of Your design. Help me to be a conduit between You and those who believe the lies of the enemy. Lead me as I follow Your guidance, in the Name of Jesus I pray. Amen.

If you or someone you know believes satan’s lies about gender or ungodly sexual desires, study God’s words concerning the creation and roles of man and woman. Remember, Jesus gave his life to give you and those you care about the ability to walk away from all sinful lifestyles. Ask God for His wisdom for yourself and an open door for you to speak His words, in His authority and love, into the lives of others. Pray for spiritual eyes to be open to the truth so neither you nor they will continue to believe the lies from the pit of hell but will embrace the truth of who God created you and them to be.
