Today’s passage is a comfort to followers of Jesus. There are times we know we need help or direction but don’t see the path forward. We know where we need to go, but we don’t know how the challenges will be overcome. If you need to “come clean” first regarding hidden sin that is in the way of you receiving God’s help, do it! Nothing is hidden from the Lord, and He is looking for those who desire to do right.

When we are overwhelmed and don’t even know how to pray, except to say, “Help me, Jesus!”, the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. “For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” (Romans 8:26) The Holy Spirit aligns our need with the will of God, a powerful combination! (1 John 5:14-15)

Your words do not have to be perfect, but your heart needs to be honestly trusting in Jesus, willing to receive his direction, wisdom, discipline if needed, and miraculous help. It is God’s desire that you become blameless and shine His light in this dark world. He is for you, not against you..

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for Your endless love and grace. I release my fears, doubts, and anxieties into Your loving hands. Help me to trust in Your perfect plan and timing. Guide me, Lord, as I seek Your presence and wisdom. Open my eyes to see Your path and my ears to hear Your voice. Strengthen my faith and grant me peace, knowing that You are in control. In the Name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

Take a moment today to sit quietly before the Lord and ask the Holy Spirit to search your heart. Confess any hidden sins that may be hindering your relationship with God and preventing you from receiving His guidance and help. Trust that the Holy Spirit will intercede for you and align your prayers with God's will.
