Zechariah 13:9 NKJV
I will bring the one-third through the fire, Will refine them as silver is refined, And test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, And I will answer them. I will say, ‘This is My people’; And each one will say, ‘The LORD is my God.’ ”
Devotion
We serve a God of His Word. Because of this, we can cling to every single promise in scripture. This scripture promises that God will hear and answer us whenever we call on His name. He knows the motives of our hearts. He will always hear our prayers and answer them, even if it is not always in the way that we expected him to.

With the busyness of life, sometimes it is so hard to keep a constant connection with others. How cool is it that the Lord of Lords CHOOSES to be available at all times to listen to us and to speak to us when we are willing to wait, trust, and listen to His whispers and still small voice?

He is in our midst all throughout the day, and I pray that we begin to find Him in the small and big moments, trusting that He is the God who hears and the God who answers!

Today's Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your faithfulness to me. You are the fourth Man in the fire. Your word encourages me to know that you work all things together for my good because you are always with me. I surrender my life to you and I boldly declare that I trust where you’re leading me to even when I don’t see it. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Apply It Today
How can you include God more throughout the day? Think back on the past faithfulness of the Lord, and cling to all the ways He has moved in your life. If He did it then, He will do it now. Cling and meditate on His promises in scripture. Write these somewhere you can see every day, and pray His promises over your life and every difficulty you may be facing.
