Do You Believe?

Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?”
Devotion
Mary, Martha and Lazarus were close friends of Jesus. Whenever Jesus was in Bethany he stayed at their home. Lazarus in particular was so close to Jesus that when he fell ill the message sent to Jesus had these few words, "the one you love is sick" (John 11:3).
One would wonder, why then was it hard for the two sisters Martha and Mary to believe with confidence that Jesus would raise their brother from the dead? They walked with him, they saw the miracles he performed, they even believed he was the messiah.
Faith is the only thing standing in between you and your miracle. There's no limit to what your eyes can see if only you believe.
The God of the process is also the God of the outcome.
Today’s Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
I thank you for your love and faithfulness. You take notice of every detail of my life, not one concern is unseen by you. Forgive me for the times I have not believed you would come through. Help me to release control, to be still and know that you are God. Amen!
Apply It Today
Live in the present. The majority of the time, we want to control things because we either live in the past or live in the future. You need to live in the present moment in order to fully let go and let God.
