There are people all around you who need a friend. They are feeling lonely and abandoned. And need someone to speak into their lives and help them. God expects you to reach out to the ones who are on their last legs. Show them you care by giving a helping hand. Providing for their needs and praying for their salvation. It's when they see that you care that they will open up to you.

Just a smile and a greeting leads to conversation and an opening. An opening where you can understand them better and minister to them. Through kindness and compassion you can bring them to the Lord. Open up your heart and God will bless you more than you know.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I thank you for the opportunity you have given me to be a blessing to those around me. My desire is to love like you love, to shine your light and be an extension of your Kingdom here on earth. I surrender to you Lord. Help me, teach me and guide me. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

The best way to be a friend indeed is to identify with the needs of those who call you friend. One act of kindness can change everything.
